A group of six table spoons of Old English pattern in silver plate by Walker & Hall, each with the badge of the regiment above a scroll 6th Bn Worcestershire Regiment Although often now described as serving spoons these would have been used for soup or ragout. The spoons probably date from the Edwardian or early George V period. In 1915 the 6th Battalion (Reserve) was commanded by Lt Col F D W Lea-Smith and the Hon Colonel was the Rt Hon G W, Earl of Coventry. The spoons are priced as a group of six but we are prepared to sell them in pairs at £50 per pair.
