East India Railway Volunteer Rifles, 18mm

A good example of the white metal button which has the title around the railway’s coat of arms. These are the arms of the East India Company in the 1st quarter, the royal arms in the 2nd and 4th quarters, and an elephant in the 3rd quarter. These are all beneath a Victorian crown. The backmark is A BROWN & SONS, ST MARTINS LANE. LONDON.
