Original brown cloth blind stamped and gilt, a very clean copy of a very scarce title [published the same year as the 1st edition], old ownership signature to front pastedown A Le G Jacob and with armorial bookplate of Major General Sir George Le Grand Jacob, K.C.S.I. (1805-1881) cousin of John Jacob] to front free endpaper. As fine a copy as you will find of this unusual work and with very good family associations.
